What we collect
- Account: your email address, when you joined, and sign-in sessions (device name and the last IP address and time seen).
- Packages and payments: the package you bought, the amount, currency, date and Stripe's payment reference. Card details are handled only by Stripe.
- Free-trial protection: when the panel connects, it sends one-way hashes of identifiers of your computer (such as the system ID, motherboard and disk serial numbers and network adapter address — never the raw values) so that each computer gets the free trial only once. We keep these hashes and the IP address of the trial request; the IP address is cleared when you delete your account.
- Usage: how many minutes of analysis you used, and technical records of AI requests (model, token counts, cost, time). We do not keep the text of your requests after the response is returned.
- Support requests: the messages you send us through the panel or the support page and our replies. Technical details (app version, editing program, operating system, graphics card and recent log lines) are attached only if you tick the box for it. Support conversations are kept while your account exists and are deleted with it.
Public profile and shared cards (optional)
A public profile (editfabric.com/@name) and its cards exist only if you create them in Editfabric Library; both are off by default. What you enter (user name, name, role, city, about text, contact) and the card images, titles, status and summary lines you choose to publish are stored on our server and shown to anyone who opens the link while your profile is public. Before each card is published you confirm that you have the permission of the people shown and of your client. You can remove a card or make the profile private at any time; removed card images are deleted from our server. Visitors can report a card; reported cards are reviewed and may be removed.
What is sent for AI-director requests
Only the transcript of the speech and shot information needed for the edit decision. When B-roll is used, three small still frames (640 pixels wide) from each B-roll clip are also sent once so the AI can describe what the shot shows; the description is stored on your computer, and the frames are not stored on our servers. This is processed by our AI model provider (through OpenRouter and the model's operator) to produce a response. Your audio and video files are never uploaded.
